17 has to be Anymore for Anymore, because it's one of my favourite songs by ANYONE. I think you're right - he was more influential than you'd think. There was a great doc about him, maybe on the BBC, in which his widow describes how, as he was dying, he used to play dead, just for laughs...
Thank you so much! "Anymore for Anymore" very nearly made this list. I have seen that documentary, years ago, but need to revisit. What a remarkable artist.
Fantastic documentary. I’ve got a copy somewhere if not available anymore. Terrific list, thank you. It’s not often these lists correspond with one’s own choices (they’re not supposed to; the pleasure is in the subjectivity) but this one did. I might be tempted to add the Poacher but otherwise…! Many thanks
I’m a big fan of Ronnie. The messy beauty of his music post Small/Faces stardom feels unique. Not folk, or pop or rock, more, I don’t know, just songs! Just For a Moment is another favourite of mine. Nice list, thanks.
Great list! Can’t go wrong with anything from Plonk, one of my all-time favorite artists and people.
Personally, I’d make it 17 with “kuschty rye”!
Thank you so much! And, yes, "Kuschty Rye" is fantastic.
Came here to say kushty rye too!
Great list!!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it, and I'm definitely a "Poacher" fan as well.
I love his album 'Mahoney's Last Stand' with Ronnie Wood.
Yes! Great stuff.
I’m a huge Faces fan and I also went to the ARMS tour for Ronnie in the 80’s.
